Two former sugarcane roads in excellent condition cross the property - this is a bonus because having roads installed can be very expensive. An old road to the gulch runs along the lower boundary. There are trails into the gulch through the forest of eucalyptus, palms, and bamboo to the waterfalls.
The property is located in Ninole, approximately 19 miles north of Hilo. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac, and is accessed easily via a road that is mostly paved from Old Mamalahoa Highway. There is easy access to both the bottom and top of the property.
Paved roads and utilities are nearby. The low elevation provides more sun - making it great for solar or wind power generation. The stream has a 200 foot elevation drop, making hydro-power a possibility. The fenced property is ideal for livestock, horses or farming.
Three berms across the contour of the property control water runoff. Giant eucalyptus trees in the gulch provide wind break to the property.
Imagine the possibilities that this beautiful acreage presents.
As per owner below (please independently verify information): Water available from concrete spring house on property in gulch, and from Grant of Limited Water Rights for use of water from Waiehu Stream for agricultural and personal use.
