2017-2018 Oregon Tilth Organic Certification:
Organic certification of farmland that produces crops to be marketed as organic must have an annual inspection and must not have any prohibited labeled substance applied within three years of application date.
The certification to acquire and maintain Organic status has very strict guidelines that must be adhered to keep certification legitimate.
Water:
The House is supplied with high-quality, tested drinking water from two wells, located in the yard area. One supplies water to the Barndominium, bunk house and RV service hookup; the second is currently set up for row watering crops. Water tests are available upon request. Two additional wells are located in the pasture/ farm area but are currently not in use and will need to be checked. They have potential to be used for additional row water irrigation or set up to use with a pivot. The previous owners utilized a large portion of the farm for growing a wide variety of vegetables and used the well water to grow their produce during the summer months.
The existing 9 Tower Lockwood pivot has not been operational for the last known 10+ years.
