Built in 1810, the 8,100 SqFt federal style main residence shows its charm inside and out. With a meticulous restoration preserving the home to 99% of its original condition, the first thing you'll notice when you enter is the attention to detail. From the elegant medallions in the ceiling, to the 12 beautifully crafted fireplaces throughout the house, you'll be amazed to know this home was restored by Edward Jones, who also lead the interior design restoration of the White House. These same medallions and details can be found in the Green Room of the White House. On the main floor you will find large open rooms such as the dining room, two parlor rooms, a bathroom and large bedroom.
