The cabin has electric service in place, also there is a flue for heating stove.
The vintage barn has been standing for an exceptionally long time and has withstood the many years of the coming and goings of the seasons that are typical in the Allegheny Mountains. The timber frame barn has a metal roof and wood lap siding that needs immediate restoration.

From Lewisburg and Beckley
From I-64 exit 150 at Dawson WV. Take at right at the intersection at the Exxon onto Lawn Rd (2 lane highway) for 1.8 miles and go left onto Grassy Meadows Road. Travel on Grassy Meadows Rd for 1.9 miles to intersection at old store/Post Office and continue straight on Grassy Meadows/Snake Run Rd for 2 miles. Turn left into Mountain View Farms on Mountain View Parkway for about 1 mile at T intersection bear left and travel 0.4 mile and take Sawmill Ridge for 0.2 miles to the property located on the right. Sign is posted before the green farm gate at Sawmill Ridge Retreat.
From Alderson, WV
From Route 12 just above City National Bank turn on to Blue Sulphur Springs Road, travel 7.6 miles and turn left onto Snake Run Road, travel 5.1 miles to the back entrance of Mountain View Farms. Turn right onto Mountain View Parkway for about 1 mile at T intersection bear left and travel 0.4 mile and take Sawmill Ridge for 0.2 miles to the property located on the right.
