There is a cattle-guard which enters the Northern property line. Hess Ranch consists of 56% native rangeland with premiere hunting capabilities, and 44% cultivated dryland farmland. There are 2 windmills with solar pumps that provide water for livestock, and 2 ponds that collect rainfall. The main house, built in 1918, has a basement. A new septic system and metal roof were installed in 2020. The Hunters' Cabin. The Hess Ranch provides an operational farm & ranch with first-rate hunting.
