Turn off of Hwy 395 and head west down the paved County Rd. 15 which follows the Middle Fork of the John Day River. The county road divides and provides access to this waterfront parcel. Much of the land is hillside and only accessible by fording the river but there is a small flat area near the SE corner that would make for a great place to pitch a tent or drop your gear as you fish up and down the river. Trout season runs from May 22nd through October 31st. This beautiful stretch of river is located within the Oregon Scenic Waterways boundary and is home to multiple sport fish species including trout, bass and whitefish.
