John Day which is about 45 minutes away has a state of the art hospital and almost anything you need. It is the hub of the county. The county has an agrarian atmosphere and runs off of cattle, timber, and recreation.
This log home/acreage property is really very beautiful with timber, meadows, and view. The fishing, big game hunting, and birds add to it along with the idea of a culture that is 50 years behind the big city.
