This particular property is most easily described as the best of the best in northwest Kansas bottled up into a property with world-class hunting.
Property Features:
- Located 7 ½ miles west of Hill City (1 ½ mile West of Penokee). Property sits ½ mile south of Highway 24. Access from the highway is along a private road that ends at the Solomon River. This property may be viewed BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
- Nearly a ½ mile stretch of the south fork of the Solomon River flows through the property, as well as a ¼ mile of Youngs Creek along the western edge. This is one of the widest stretches of the Solomon River for miles in either direction
- This area is known for producing trophy whitetails and itâ??s properties like this that are the reason why. There have been multiple 170+ whitetails on this property over the years, and in 2010 there was a buck well in excess of 200â?? that frequented the property, as evidenced by the trail cam pic thatâ??s provided. This acreage is typically planted to milo or sorghum feed by the farm tenant, which are both excellent fall hunting food sources. Some acreage could potentially be designated for planting wildlife specific food plots as well
