5583.64 ac. on northwest and southwest sides of FM 2442 and on west and east sides of FM 883, Goliad County, TX. The Dorothy Ray Ranch is a large rolling cattle and hunting ranch in northwestern Goliad County, Texas. It has been in the same ranching family for over 100 years. The land is rolling with a good variety of South Texas brush and open fields. There are numerous large Live Oaks. The ranch has over 11,000 ft. of FM2442 frontage and over 1,000 ft. of FM 883. There are two water wells on the northwest with a good spacing of water troughs. There is one set of pens on the north side. The north side ranges from 270 to 350 ft. in elevation. The vistas are vast with the north crossing two hills. Several large root plowed strips break up the brushy areas. The eastern side is planted in a good stand of Kline with one windmill. There are areas on the east and west side for hunters camps, the eastern camp has electricity and water, the western camp area has water. The northern portion is estimated to be about 2600ac.

The ranch south of FM 2442 has similar terrain and brush. Elevations range from 300 to 350 ft. There appears to be one water well near 2442 with water piped to good concrete troughs across the ranch. There are several large cleared areas excellent for grazing. The eastern side has the most elevation change and habitat. An old caliche pit still has what appears to be enough area to supply road material.

About 300 acres of the ranch lies to the west of FM 883 with similar brush. There is no fence on the western boundary as this land has been leased by adjacent neighbors.
