The soils on the ranch vary as well. Roughly 30% is Samford clay, 20% is Vernon clay loam, and around 10% is Clairemont silt loam. Soils present on the property covering less than 10% are Olton clay loam, Vernon clay loam, Lincoln-Yahola complex, and others.

WATER-

There are currently no active wells on the property, however, the Double Mountain River runs through a portion of the land, along with multiple large dirt tanks scattered across the property as well. Due to dry weather, some dirt tanks have dried up, but there are still multiple tanks with water still in them.
