Long Branch Farm is one of the premier grain farms in the state. Located in eastern Montana south of the small ranching town of Jordan, this contiguous 5,951 total-acre farm, of which 5,320 acres are deeded, has 4,129 acres of cultivated ground with excellent soils plus 1,822 acres of well-maintained and abundantly watered grazing land. The native grasses are comprised primarily of western wheat grass and brome grasses. Improvements include a 3,600 sf home, 50,000 bushels of quality grain storage, ample storage for machinery and equipment as well as a grass airstrip. The Farm is well watered with two good wells and water pipeline to all pastures. In addition to the hunting on the Farm, an added bonus is direct access to 12,000 acres of good back yard hunting.
