Moore, TX 78057(Frio County)

The main feature on this ranch would have to be Moore Hollow Creek which traverses across the property from the Northwest corner to the Southeast corner. Moore Hollow Creek is a wet weather creek that is known to hold pockets of water for several months after periods of normal rainfall. The entire Creek bottom is lined with hundreds of large Live Oaks, Hackberry, and Bull Mesquite trees. Over half of the ranch is in native old growth brush consisting of an excellent variety of species such as Blackbrush, Guajillo, Granjeno, Brasil, Persimmon, Guayacan and Prickly Pear. The balance of the land is slightly open with a heavy cover of old regrowth Mesquite and native grasses. With the exception of the creek bottom, the soils are mostly red sandy loam. The elevations ranges from 670' on the Northeast to 610' on the South, allowing for a nice change in topography.

Electricity is available to the property in several locations and there is one old nonfunctioning windmill in unknown conduction. Underground water is plentiful in this area of Frio county. The Carrizo Aquifer is said to be reached between 500' to 800' and can be capable of producing large amounts of water. Moore Community Water may also be obtained on the Northwest side of the ranch. There is one small stock pond along with several pools along the creek which provides water to a variety of wildlife. Whitetail Deer, Hogs, Turkey, Dove and Quail can all be enjoyed.

Property has great access with FM 2779 as the East boundary, County Road 2537 as the West boundary and County Road 2530 along most of the North boundary.
