Habitat:

Most of the brush found in these areas are typical South Texas brush and include Mesquite, Granjeno, Blackbrush, Tasajillo, as well as a variety of different cactuses. Grasses in this area are made up predominantly of Bluestem, Coastal, and Buffel Grass.
