It is a very natural and serene setting with plenty of privacy. It is at the 3,000 foot level so it is cooler in the summer and will get some winter snow from time to time. Portions of the property have chain link fencing.
Downsides? This is a bank-owned property and, like most, it has a few issues. The former owner did not leave it in the nicest condition. There is a soft spot in the floor of the utility room and a raised area in the floor of one of the off bathrooms. The kitchen floor was redone by the former owner but the work isn't the best. A couple of ceiling fixtures are missing and the Berber carpets could definitely use a thorough cleaning. Traces of the wall removal to merge the two bedrooms can still be seen. In general, though, the home is in very decent condition.
This is a very nice offering...it is hard to find a newer home with this amount of square footage at the listed price. It is a great opportunity for a larger family on a limited budget. It is certainly worth taking a look at. Bank owned properties are getting harder to come by and they move quickly.
