Despite being surrounded by forest, Rising Creek Ranch is easy to access. Heading East out of Ashton you travel towards the ranch on a well maintained paved road. As you head into the National Forest the paved road turns to a gravel acces that continues on beyond the ranch to the SW corner of Yellowstone National Park. The ranch gate is located 1.6 miles from the pavement on Cave Falls Road which is not currently maintained in the winter months making the Rising Creek Ranch primarily a spring, summer and fall destination.
