This tract is in east central Franklin County south of US Highway 84. At the community of Quitman turn south on Pleasant Valley Road for approximately 7 miles, just north of the intersection of Old Meadville Road and Pleasant Valley Road you turn northeast on an un-named road to the property. It's bordered on the east by McGehee Creek, the south by the Homochitto National Forest and the other sides by private ownership. Approximately 70% of the tract is hills with the east side dropping into the creek bottom. This tract has recently been thinned, but there is a good stand of various age groups of planted pines. Utilities aren't available. The east boundary has a nice higher elevation over looking McGehee Creek that provides a very nice camping or picnic area.
