In fact, the seller says he finds sheds in this stand of grass frequently, proving how much the bucks use it for sanctuary. The western portion of the timber is more open and traditional. There are notably some larger marketable trees in this area that could help with some return on investment as well as creating some additional habitat improvement. The trail system leads you in from the locked-cable entry on the west edge through a narrowly wooded area and opens up into the main shape as you pass a tillable farm field on the north side of the drive. Deer sign is everywhere here showing the deer end up in the ag fields at night for additional food sourcing.
