This one just needed a little work.
It boasts a beautiful pond and scenic creek but grown up roads prevented all but the most diehard outdoorsmen from seeing them. That all changed thanks to a little help from a bulldozer and a mulcher. The property had been planted in pine, and about ten years ago the pines were cut. These areas are now wonderfully lush regeneration, excellent habitat for whitetail deer. A large portion of the property in hardwood was not cut. These areas are primarily in the bottoms and draws, but they are much larger than just a typical stream zone.
About 20 acres of the property running along the county road used to be pasture. The front side has been mulched and the rest could easily be as well. On the edge of the old pasture lies a nice pond with newly mulched banks. Existing green fields have been improved and new ones pushed in.
