The headwater from the North Fork of McDonald Creek start on the ranch. Located on the north and the south end are two springs. On the north is a shallow spring feed pond.
Wildlife:
A benefit of the Divide area is the vast amount of wildlife. Mostly migratory but resident to the nearby Judith and Snowy Mountains ecosystem. Elk frequent the area and ranch. Elk numbers have never been higher toping 8,000 in this area. Other wildlife supported by the areas vast resources are Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Antelope, Upland Birds, and Black Bear. The deer and antelope are constants on the ranch. Hunting opportunities for Sharp Tail, Hungarian Partridge, Blue Grouse, and Turkey are endless. The ranch is part of the 411 Hunting District. White Tails and Mule Deer are a general tag. An elk tag is a draw in the lottery system. 300 Elk tags are given out for 2020.
