This is a good summer ranch for approx. 230 pair from June 14 to October 31 each year. The ranch has a private Forest Service permit with two pastures. The permit is for 1059 aum's. There are approx. 12 sections in the allotment. This is strong feed and the allotment is well watered. Approx. 9 miles South of the permit is the Keas Ranch which is part of the private lands the permit is attached to. It is 112 Deeded acres and is fenced. Often times cattle are driven there first from the Tennell Ranch and held for a night on the Keas ranch in route to the Forest Service permit. The cow camp at the Tennell Ranch has corrals and chute and a cabin with water from a spring. This ranch is 172 Acres deeded. The Keas Ranch doesn't have improvements other than fence but the creek does have some fish.There are two ways into the ranch one from the Gold Creek Road on East side of Wild horse Reservoir off State Rout 225 and the other coming in from Idaho at Grassmere.
