Improvements include a custom-designed, three-story, 5,278 sqft lodge built in 1990. It has a large and open great room, a game room, a mudroom, an office and over 700 sqft of decking overlooking the ranch and out to the nine Cascade peaks. There is a large master suite on the third floor with a walk-in closet and views of the entire ranch. A big chefs kitchen with prep areas, granite counters and high-end appliances are just off of the great room. Four additional bedrooms and three baths complete the lodge.
Other improvements on the property include a 1,800 sqft barn that was built in 2009. It has horse stalls, a tack room and storage for hay. There are outdoor bird pens for raising pheasant and chukar, a skeet shooting range and a trap station, as well as cross fencing for cattle and horses. The property is currently permitted to construct up to 18 guest cabins under a conditional use permit for a potential guest ranch business.
The property is also home to large mule deer, elk, valley quail and doves, making it a sportsmans dream. The property is located in the Metolius Big Game Unit and allows for two landowner preference tags each for deer and elk. Deep Canyon Ranch borders BLM land, which provides direct access to thousands of acres of public land for trail riding and other recreational pursuits.
