Accessed by a 1.5 mile deeded easement off of a paved county road this beautiful property is both secluded and quiet. You will not hear the sounds of traffic here. This unique tract has over a mile of frontage on Jack’s Creek, one of the most picturesque creeks in Alabama. This beautiful, pristine, water feature has numerous waterfalls and unique rock formations. This property was once home to a grist mill that was in operation until it burned down just prior to World War 1. The property also had a thriving cotton gin on it that ceased operations sometime after the grist mill burned. The owner has conservatively estimated the remaining timber value at $1,500/acre. There is also 86 acres of SMZ’s that are loaded with mature hardwoods. The cover provided by the up and coming pine plantation combined with the food produced by the hardwoods in the SMZ’s makes for the perfect hunting spot. Another benefit to having some of the timber cut is that now the views have been opened up and in places, you can see for miles. While there are some game plots on the property you now have a blank canvas and you can easily add to and/or enlarge the existing plots.
