Tired of leasing your hunting land?
Here is a 40-acre hunting tract in Conecuh County with dirt road frontage that is loaded with deer and small game. Located about 12 miles north of Evergreen on the CCC Trail, just off State Highway 83, it features a diverse mix of old-growth hardwoods and some pines (the pictures will give you a good idea of what old growth really means). The CCC Trail tract is almost entirely hardwood creek bottom land. The West branch of the Sepulga River (significantly smaller than the east branch) flows from north to south through the west half of the tract creating some excellent wildlife habitat.
Secluded yet accessible, it is completely surrounded by large tracts of timber owned by Rayonier. It is very accessible with almost 200 of road frontage on the CCC Trail which actually crosses this tract on the SE corner. The CCC Trail is a county-maintained ...
Secluded yet accessible, it is completely surrounded by large tracts of timber owned by Rayonier. It is very accessible with almost 200 of road frontage on the CCC Trail which actually crosses this tract on the SE corner. The CCC Trail is a county-maintained dirt road. There are no established internal roads but the understory is open and easy to walk. Although it is a fine hunting tract and potential timber investment, it is in a low area and would probably not be suitable for a hunting camp or a building site. Priced at less than $1,500 per acre.
