Florida Gateway College calls Lake City home or you can choose to travel 45 minutes south to Gainesville where you will find the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.

Jacksonville is located 60 miles to the east, Gainesville is 50 miles to the south and the Florida/Georgia border is 30 miles north of Nova Estates.

The Stephen Foster State Park is located 5 miles northwest of Country Lane Estates. The park is situated on the banks of the Suwannee River. There is a museum that exhibits Foster's most famous songs. In Craft Square, visitors can watch demonstrations of quilting, blacksmithing, stained glass making, and other crafts. There are miles of trails for hiking, bicycling and wildlife viewing. Every Memorial Day weekend, the park hosts the Florida Folk Festival. Other special events include concerts, weekend retreats, a holiday light display, and much more.

Country Lane Estates - Lot 1B is located on the corner of two county maintained paved roads and electricity is available to the front of the property. The lot has many oaks and hardwood trees throughout the land. We have cleared out the first couple hundred feet of undergrowth to open the parcel up more. There is no requirement or timetable to build. Mobile homes and modular homes are permitted. Farm animals are allowed.

There are NO DEED RESTRICTIONS, but you must follow the building codes of Columbia County when do decide to build.
