Remarks: This is a good working cattle ranch with the added benefit of hunting. Of interest, the ranch is regionally known as the "Red River Ranch". When this area of New Mexico was first being settled, the early pioneers thought the Canadian River was the Red River. The first ownership named this ranch the "Red River Ranch", and even though the river was mis-named, the name has stuck, and area ranchers still refer to this property as the Red River Ranch.
