Location:This ranch is located approximately 6½ to 7 miles north of Bronte, Texas on the east side of Highway 277. The ranch sits in between San Angelo and Abilene, Texas approximately 40 miles from each of these towns.
Terrain &
Vegetation:The Twin Wells Ranch is level to slightly rolling with lots of large scattered Live Oak. There are a couple of old fields which have been planted back to grass for several years. There is a wide variety of native brush and trees. The property has not been grazed in several years; therefore lots of good native grasses have come back. In addition to the native grasses the fields have been planted in introduced grasses such as Wilman Love, Klein, Bluestem, etc. There is plenty of good browse for the deer.
