These four sections include 631.9 acres enrolled in CRP through 2009 at $30.00 per acre. Approximately 540 acres were cleared and put into production in Spring, 2008. Three used sprinklers (Valley-300 acre, Valley-120 acre & Reinke-120 acre) were installed. Five of the six existing wells were reconditioned and produce a total of approximately 2300 gpm. Four of the wells have submersible electric pumps and motors and one has a turbine pump with a diesel engine. Electricity for the wells and sprinklers is produced by 2 generators with natural gas engines. New 8” and 10” high-pressure plastic line connects all the wells and sprinklers. There is a Gifford-Hill sprinkler on the CRP that has not been used in 20 years, an older trailer house, a small barn, two domestic/livestock wells and a large set of steel cattle pens.

The balance of the land is in native pasture with a considerable amount of Shinoak. There is excellent hunting in this area with quail, prairie chicken and trophy mule deer. This is a highly productive farm well suited for cotton or peanut production with additional acres that can be put into production.
