Oak Farm Estate features a stunning 7+/- acre lake was built buy the current owner in 2014 and has since stayed full and for the most part has maintained its approximate 27ft. of depth at its deepest point. The lake has been approx. 6-7 feet low during the worst of the drought, but due to its steep banks it did not lose much surface acreage.

Wildlife

Deer

This farm features a great mix of options for the outdoor enthusiast. A healthy herd of Whitetail Deer use this property year round. A tremendous deer officially scoring 205 7/8 B&C was taken on an adjacent property by a lucky hunter on opening day of the 2017 Muzzleloader season.

Waterfowl

During the fall and winter months it is not uncommon to see hundreds of Ducks and Geese using the large lake as a resting and roost area.

Turkey

Spring is a magical time on the farm due to the Gobbling Toms and Cackling Rio Grande hen Turkeys that roam the property.

Dove/Quail

Morning dove are plentiful and an opportunity awaits to put in a sunflower or milo field for the wing-shooter.

Quail come and go, but it is not likely there would be a consistent huntable population present.

Fishing

The current owner has gone to great lengths to stock the lake with a variety of fish. Baitfish include: Copper-nose, Native, and Red Eared Bluegill plus annual stocking of shiners and flathead minnows. Game-fish consist of Black Crappie and special strains of Hybrid Bass, Lone Star Legacy, Florida, and Northern Black Bass.

The half-acre pond is stocked with a healthy population of Catfish. If you want to put a smile on a kids face take them to the waters edge of this pond and let them throw a bucket of fish feed in the water and watch the surface explode!! It is sure to get deep laughs and priceless smiles!
