There is a large oxbow that holds water nearly year around at the southwest portion of the ranch. It's approximately 1 mile in length and about 150 feet wide. The main entrance is 3 miles from FM 171, which is asphalt paved. The largest metropolitan town is Wichita Falls, located 20 miles SW, Dallas, Ft. Worth is 130 miles SE and Oklahoma City is 145 miles NE.
