Terrain: The Little Wichita High Fenced Ranch is very diverse with terrain ranging from thick, brushy river and creek bottoms to large grassy rolling plateaus. There are large elevation changes throughout the ranch offering great lodge sites or for just viewing the beautiful acreage. The many river and creek bottoms are primarily beautiful large hardwoods ranging from all kinds of oak trees to large hackberry. These heavy brushy areas extend from the river and creek beds in some places several hundred yards outwards. It is common to see deer running from this awesome wildlife habitat. These large hardwoods also make excellent roosting sites for the large numbers of turkey on the ranch. Away from the lower areas, some areas have thick mesquite brush with others having been sprayed to enhance the heavy grasses. Quail hunting is excellent in this area of North Texas and with the excellent blend of mesquite, native grasses, plum thickets, and water sources, the Little Wichita Ranch is a quail hunters paradise.

Improvements: High Fence completed in July of 2006. Excellent road system throughout entire ranch. Internal barb wire fences are good to excellent.
