The Terre Noire Creek tract (Listing #4541) is located eleven miles south of Arkadelphia and less than eight miles from the proposed Sun Paper pulp mill. Access is via woods roads through adjoining timberland. Terre Noire Creek crosses the northern part of tract. Timber consists of bottomland hardwoods with scattered pine. Site index for loblolly pine is 96 feet (base age 50 years) on fine sandy loam soils. Timber volume estimates included in notice (over 2,000 tons total of hardwood pulpwood and sawtimber).

Research Parcel InformationDriving Directions: At the "Curtis Junction" on Highway 67, turn east on paved Vaden Road. Drive 3.0 miles and turn right (south) on gravel Arnold Road. Drive .5 mile to yellow gate, opened with 5-7-5-7 lock combo. Drive .6 mile to old bridge; an ATV will be needed from here. On ATV, follow blue flags 1.3 miles to another bridge. Continue across bridge on ATV 1.3 miles following blue flags to west boundary of tract, marked with pink KFS flagging and "Land For Sale" signs.
