This farm has two impoundments for waterfowl hunting. One impoundment is about 5 acres and the other is 15+ acres. The 5 acre impoundment is fed by wells and the larger impoundment is fed by wells and rainwater. This farm has been managed for wild birds. The larger impoundment holds many species of divers as it is deep near the dike. The impoundment can be expanded very easily if desired. There are about 50 acres of row crop land on the farm. A portion of the row crop land is planted for doves. The smaller impoundment is currently being flooded to attract teal for the early teal season. This is one of the very few impoundments that flooded for teal. This farm holds a lot of teal in September. The wooded areas have been under a prescribed fire regimen for many years. This farm has several coveys of quail that reside in the woodlands.
