Oak Hill Tract
Oak Hill Tract is a diverse forested property in a rural setting just northeast of the town of Chester. About 60 acres of gently sloping uplands are covered in loblolly pine now about 4 years old. About 25 acres of old oaks, yellow poplars and other hardwoods stand along streams and in large upland patches. Rocky Creek flows through the tract near its western end. Beavers have created a wetland along the creek that covers about 10 acres with water, dead tree snags and bottomland hardwood.
The land would lend itself to a variety of uses with gently rolling ridges. Much of the tract is classified as above average for USDA farmland potential. Soils are mostly sandy clay loam or loam. Except for a few houses near the eastern line, neighboring properties are large, forested tracts.

From the Chester post office (131 Saluda St, Chester, SC 29706) go northeast on Saluda Road for about 1.1 miles then continue straight across Hwy 97 (JA Cochran Bypass) onto Hwy 72 toward Rock Hill. After about another 2.7 miles, turn left onto Stringfellow Road. Cross the railroad tracts and turn right at the T to continue on Stringfellow Road. In half a mile, turn left onto Oak Hill Road and proceed straight ahead. In about 0.8 miles, Oak Hill Road will come to an end at the property gate.
