Several hundred acres of planted loblolly pine, and an area of planted longleaf pine, provide for future timber revenue. In the meantime, the pines offer excellent wildlife bedding and cover. An extensive bottomland hardwood area along Allen Creek (perennial stream) includes a wet bottomland area for waterfowl habitat.
