Lake Front Tract Along The Black River Lake In East Central LA

This beautiful lakefront tract lies along the banks of  Black River Lake.  Black River Lake is a 22-mile long oxbow lake that was once a part of the Black River which flows into the Red River. The Corps of Engineers decided to straighten the path of the Black River which would eliminate a 22-mile bend in the river hence Black River Lake was formed. Because of its consistent 30-40 water depth and no presence of stumps, the lake is now one of the most desired locations in the state for fishing and family recreation. With all its tributaries and bayous, the owner of this lot would have access to over 50 miles of waterways. The lots along Black River Lake do not flood because of the protection of a ring levee and water control structure.
