When we leave this house, we will miss the morning sun beaming through my kitchen window, reflecting across the lake-looks like a display put on just for us. I will miss the black tipped white pelicans in the fall, all the wildlife but especially the rows of baby ducks parading past our dock following their proud mothers. I will miss our many hummindbirds chasing each other around the feeders. We will miss the privacy we enjoy on our dock watching boaters going by and the shimmering waves of water dancing and rolling by us. We will miss the sunsets and the calm of the waters that follows.

We will miss our boat rides to friends and local waterfront restaurants like Bare Bottoms, Big Dicks Half Way Inn, Red Box, Runaway II. Not to mention, the wonderful boat rides during the full moon when the water is still and sweet.

We have enjoyed our quiet cozy home that we have created in this safe neighborhood with great neighbors who look out for each other here on the 44 Milemarker. We will miss our little store and gas dock just walking distance away being so convenient and close by water or by road.

We love all the wood features in our home especially the wood tongue and groove ceilings and the rustic feel it creates. There is a lake view from every room. Only health reasons have given us reason to leave our lovely lake home.
