Research Parcel InformationFrom intersection of US 33/119 in Stumptown, West Virginia drive west about three miles on Calhoun County Route 7 (Russet-Stumptown Road). (Calhoun County Route 7/9), Timber Wolfe Run is on the right. In .9 miles the driveway to the original homestead exits on the right. The intersection with the County Road is obscured by brush but identifiable by the remains of a large pipe gate near a patch of multi-floral rose. Just above the driveway a wide spot on a corner in the County Road is adequate for parking. The driveway passes through a few hundred feet of DNR land before reaching the property boundary. Almost exactly one mile from leaving County Route 7, and about four hundred feet uphill from the driveway, the property begins. The DNR property boundary is identified with metal signs and blue paint. The CR 7/9 passes through the property until it reaches the northernmost boundary of the land near the ridgetop. A gated road on the left accesses the ridgetop white pine plantation. There is excellent Verizon cell service from the mountaintop and the pine plantation. The road is very narrow near the gate and the best place to park is downhill from the gate a little. To turn around, continue driving on CR 7/9 about 1/4 mile to an intersection. There are a few permanent residences and camps beyond the property but the county road is not maintained past the last house.
