Central Texas Recreational Ranch Near Austin

Comanche Flats Ranch is a 355-acre recreational ranch located just 10 minutes outside of Lockhart, Texas, which is rich in Texas history. This is the area where Edward Burleson and his Texas Rangers, led by Major General Felix Huston, fought the Comanche Indians at the Battle of Plum Creek in a campaign to reclaim the Republic of Texas. The ranch is full of Texas history, Indian artifacts, and native wildlife. The property has electricity and water to a secluded cabin, road frontage, panoramic hilltop homesites, and fertile native bottomland.
