DESCRIPTION: The Oakey Streak Tract is located in one of the best areas in South Alabama for trophy bucks and huge gobblers. This property is covered in in timber. Most of the timber is natural hardwoods around 25 years old with a lot of mast producing trees. There is also 8 acres of planted pines that are ready to be thinned. There are 4 food plots set up for hunting some of the best areas on this property. It has a good internal road system that allows access to most of the property. There is a nice creek on the east side of the tract also.
LOCATION: Region 6, Butler and Covington County, Alabama. This tract is located 23 miles north of Andalusia, 27 miles south of Greenville, 77 miles south of Montgomery, and 132 miles north of Mobile.
ACCESS: From the Intersection of U. S. Highway 84 and U. S. Highway 29 in Andalusia, take U. S. Highway 84 west for 3.8 miles and turn right onto Alabama Highway 55. Travel for 8.3 miles and turn right onto Covington County Road 107 and then make an immediate right onto Covington County Road 51. Travel on County Road 51 for 8.6 miles and turn right onto Oakey Streak Road. The Oakey Streak Tract will be on the left in 9/10ths of a mile.
