The Stanish Ranch is located approximately 45 miles northwest of Austin, Texas, in northeastern Burnet County, about 5.6 miles west of Briggs, Texas, along the east side of County Road 216, north of County Road 210.
This is a well maintained cattle ranch with rolling, open pastureland with a scattered covering of oak trees. There are 3 different soils types and two types of range sites, all of which make this property conducive for cattle and native wildlife.
The topography of the Stanish Ranch is mostly level terrain with a slight slope to the south. The general flow of drainage is from the north to south, and the elevation ranges from a high of about 1,202' on a hilltop ridge midway along the eastern boundary line, to a low of approximately 1,150' in the southwestern corner of the property.
