Y River is a well thought out and executed working ranch. Served by a good road system, the ranch has 5 Barns spread through out the ranch for efficiency, to include a Covered Cattle Handling Barn with Tub and Hydraulic Squeeze Chute. There are 19 fenced and cross fenced pastures, all with water, that are planted primarily in Coastal Bermuda and Fescue, with ample Forbs for increased grazing. There are 5 Water Wells, in the Nacatoch Aquifer, along with extensive surface water.
There is a recently remodeled 5,000 square foot Hunter's Lodge, on the banks of the Applewhite Cut-Off Lake and a Manager's House near the Entry. There are also several excellent Homesites spread throughout the ranch, as well. Directions
Exit I-30 in Hooks, Texas. Follow the I-30 Access Road West and Turn Right on Whaley Road. Follow the road North and it will end at the Y River Ranch.
