Golden Age Mine

The entire 639.7 acres are patented mining claims. Since the beginning of the 1900s, gold and silver in significant quantities have been removed from the hard rock mines located on the Property. One mining shaft is more than 6,000 feet. The is a mile-long dike running approximately east to west on the Property. This was in the early 1900s a very active mining community with several of the original buildings still remaining. The property is located on Boise County-maintained roads within less than 45 minutes from Idaho City. The roads from Idaho City to the Property are plowed by Boise County after snowfalls. The Golden Age Mine is one of the significant mineral mine sites within the Boise Basin and Idaho City mining properties.
