Big Horn River Ranch
Basin, WY
A great family ranch in Northwestern Wyoming. Great area to raise a family or semi-retire. Low taxes, fresh air, quality neighbors (but not too many). The ranch offers about 425 deeded acres. Very nice 3,000 sq. ft. home (3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths), garage, large steel shop building, barn and corrals, truly a good complete operation. Another big plus, it borders a huge amount of government land for your enjoyment.
The ranch lands and all that government land provides a home for all sorts of wildlife. Deer, antelope, pheasants, ducks, geese and more. A piece of Big Horn River frontage is another huge bonus.
The ranch has been used for cattle and horses, the area and mild winter climate are ideal. The hay crop is usually quite good. Past owners have also raised malt barley and sugar beets.

Quality schools and bus service to the driveway help the kids get off to a good start. Shopping is close and if needed, Cody and its larger selection are just over an hour away. Yellowstone National Park is only a couple hours to the east and Billings, Montana is 2 hours to the north. All and all, a pretty good location.
