The big five bedroom Georgian Colonial with is room spanning arches, window seats and cubbies is the centerpiece of the property. It is rumored to have been a stage coach stop at one time for runs between Concord and Sanbornton. Stepping into the dining room you can envision a lively group of travelers taking supper before the big fieldstone fireplace. The arches between the rooms add openness and flow and again you can imagine groups of people gathering by one of the three fireplaces to talk before retiring upstairs. A new Harmon pellet stove insert has been added to the living room fireplace and will keep everyone cozy this winter. Two arches, one on either side of the staircase leading upstairs have been enclosed but can be reopened again. Anyone who loves antiques homes will fall in love with this house!
The land is mostly level and open and paddock area can easily be expanded. Two run in sheds provide respite from the weather. The outdoor ring is 80’x150’ with a sand/stone dust footing. Lights are at ringside. There is also a viewing deck and the annual “fun show”, by invitation only, for local junior riders brings in lots of enthusiastic rider related spectators.
The nine stall barn has everything you need, tack room, grain room, water and electricity, even a heated office.
Tin Corner is a quaint and compact horse farm with a laid back atmosphere that would work well for the horse owner who has several horses or someone who wants to teach lessons and take in boarders.
The location is ideal for commuting, just about 20 minutes to I-93 and Concord or Manchester.
