Using the existing landscapes, one could choose to have a home sit up high with and untold number of miles to view in the distance, or you could choose to use one of the rocky ledges as a scenic backdrop with the spires and mesas rising above.
Recreation
Whitetail deer, turkey and quail and waterfowl hunting are all available on this property. The deep canyons hold thick vegetation that provides wonderful cover for whitetail deer. The property is situated in the middle of KS Whitetail Hunting Unit 16, known far and wide to be one of the best areas for producing trophy bucks. The property could easily be enhanced for all kinds of wildlife with the addition of food plots as well. Quail whistle throughout the property and are bountiful, making their home in the mixture of prairie grass and thick cedars. Predator hunting is also available and can be a unique experience from the many high vantage points.
There are trails throughout the property that provide for excellent ATV or off-road opportunities as well. Again, with the changes in elevation and unique landscape, this is a trail rider’s dream.

History
This property is located just SW of Medicine Lodge, KS. Medicine Lodge is site of the Indian Peace Treaty and Celebration held every three years.
The “Gyp Hills” or “Gypsum Hills” is an area in South Central KS that encompasses some of the most dramatic landscapes in the region including flat mesas, deep canyons, sharp high hills, red soils and caprock formations.
The property is located approximately 1.5 hours from Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita, KS and 3 hours from Oklahoma City.
