In an area that was a campground for native americans, explorers, trappers, prospectors, and missionaries on their journeys along the southern shore of Lake Superior, this area is full of history. The original log cabin was built in 1935, and was remodeled and enlarged in 2007. The cabin has retained the lodge look so sought after by those seeking peace and quite, and it features a sitting room, an original stone fireplace, a bath area that has a huge log sink, and a spa tub. With a fold-out sofa, the cabin can sleep four. The cabin has been used as a recreational rental by the current owners. Cross US41 from the driveway to access Snowmobile Trail No. 15. There is direct access to boating, swimming and fishing on Lake Superior from the shore of the property.
