The first ever (legal) winery in Bandera County is nestled in a canyon along side the crystal-clear waters of the Sabinal River just an hour from San Antonio. Directly to the north, about a mile, is the Lost Maples state Park and 14 miles to the west is Garner state park. This is one of the most beautiful picturesque parts of the Texas Hill country region. The Villa at Polvadeau Vineyards is your ideal destination for relaxing and or romantic get away. The Villa sits on the same property as the winery. The boutique winery offers a selection of award-winning wines and the tasting room is just a a short walk from the vila. On the westside of the Sabinal River you have 16 acres of the winery with almost 1500+- vines. On the north end of this this property is the Villa with an outdoor kitchen. River frontage on this side is approximately 1500. Crossing the river, you have another 800+- vines on the 62 acre ranch. The ranch is where you find the main house and a smaller mother-in-law house. There is a rather spacious barn/shop on this side as well. Approximate river frontage on this side is 2000. The winery is highf fenced to keep out any herbivores. The ranch is low fenced and has hill country white tail deer, turkey, and axis. The exotics on the ranch consist of elk and red stag. This is a turnkey operation.
