About 10 miles southwest of Bandera, the ranch fronts on the east side of Bandera Creek Road (the county extension of RR 1077). Access is via paved roads to the entry gate and then on the ranch headquarters.

San Antonio International Airport is 59 miles to the east-southeast - a little over an hour drive. Kerrville and Boerne are equidistant from the ranch - about 35 miles. Both cities offer a wide variety of entertainment options, grocery shopping, and medical care.

Terrain:

A gently sloping, open grass field forms the front quarter of the ranch with a seasonal small pond located near the northeast corner. The remainder of the property is a mixture of limestone hills with medium density cedar brush and savannah meadows bordered by mature oak trees.

There is a surprising diversity of vegetation found along the southern edge of the Edwards Plateau. Viewing the old ranch headquarters in the park encourages an appreciation for our ranching heritage.

Direct access to the adjoining state natural area is currently through a gate in the ranch's south fence and is governed by a park access agreement with Texas Parks and Wildlife. Prospective buyers will need to apply and qualify with Texas Parks and Wildlife for access under a new agreement.
