Location: The Promised Land Tract is located approximately 1.8 miles due north of the community of Mist and approximately 8.5 miles northeast of Hamburg. The property is described as the SE of the SE of Sec 14 and the NE of the NE of Sec 23, Township 16 South, Range 6 West, containing 80 acres more or less, located in Ashley County, Arkansas
Property Description: Timber stands on the property consist of 65 acres of 2012 loblolly pine plantation and 15 acres of mature natural pine and hardwood sawtimber along creek in southeast corner of property. This property is nestled between industrial timberland and agricultural row crop land which are desirable attributes for whitetail deer habitat and hunting opportunities. This property is nestled between industrial timberland and agricultural row crop land which are desirable attributes for whitetail deer habitat and hunting opportunities. The topography is flat to rolling. Per the NRCS Web Soil Survey the predominant soils are somewhat poorly drained silt loam soils with an expressed average native site index for loblolly pine of 84 feet (Base Age 50).
Directions
From the intersection of U.S. Hwy 425 and U.S. Hwy 82 in Hamburg, AR, travel northeast on U.S. Hwy 82E approximately 9 miles to the intersection with Ashley CR 63 on the North (left) side of the highway. Turn North (left) onto Ashley CR 63 and travel approximately 2.3 miles to the intersection with a Weyerhaeuser logging road. A Kingwood Forestry Services "Land for Sale" is located on the West (left) side of Ashley CR 63 at this intersection. Turn left onto the logging road and travel southwest for approximately .5 miles to a Kingwood Forestry Services "Land for Sale" that is located on the west (right) logging road at the intersection with another logging road. Turn right onto the logging road and follow the PINK Kingwood Forestry Services flagging approximately .25 mile to a Kingwood Forestry Services "Land for Sale" that is located on the East boundary line of the property.
