Little Fox Farm is a 175 acre farm located in SE Arkansas a short distance south and west of Dermott and due west of Jerome, Arkansas on the Ashley and Drew County line. This is really a unique piece of property for many reasons. If you are seeking a place that has deer, turkey, ducks, hogs, small game, very private access to CutOff Creek Wildlife Management Area, established food plots (8/10 of a mile long), a sporty lodge for entertaining your family and guests no doubt this is the property for you. The property sits behind 3 locked gates and in the middle of agriculture land that adjoins 1000s of acres of public ground that due to proximity of the property to the WMA access to 1000+ acres of un-pressured public ground is at your door step. The WMA allows foot traffic only and since the closest public access is over 1.75 miles away pressure from public hunters is a rarity, most of the time they are lost when they wonder far enough to see them. Green timber duck hunting in the WMA is a short 10 minute walk. If you love to bow hunt you have the capabilities of hunting some of the prettiest woods in SE Arkansas on the WMA and an opportunity to arrow a very nice buck. The owners left several bow stands in the WMA this season and had absolutely no problem with anyone messing with them. Bow Hunting is all that is allowed in the WMA except for A 4 day gun hunt draw that happens the first week of November. Because of this the deer literally pour out of the WMA to feed in the 8/10 of a mile food plot and an afternoon in one of the shooting houses makes for a very interesting hunt.
Little Fox Farm stretches the length (1.25 mile) of the southern boundary line of the WMA. Little Fox leases 389 adjoining acres that runs the east side of the WMA thus controlling another 1.25 miles of the WMA for a total of 2.5 continuous miles. This lease has DU constructed ponds with a water level control system on it as well as outstanding bedding for monster bucks that travel from the bedding to the soybean/corn fields that adjoin the lease. Duck hunting the famous Branch Hall slough is located on this lease as well as publicly. It has a good pine stand on the north end that allows for awesome turkey roosting/hunting. It has a very good road system on it that makes for easy access.
Little Fox also leases 200 acres that adjoins on the west side across the creek. It is a mix of hardwood, cut over and thick brush. Little hunting has been done on this tract. It has been treated as a buffer zone for Little Fox Farm. Little Fox leases a total of 589 acres in addition to owning 175 acres.
The sporty 2400 square foot cypress lodge is decked out with all brand new leather furniture in the great room. A new pool table that makes entertaining easy. A stone fire place with a wood burning stove will warm you up after a day in the field. Sit on the back porch that stretches the lengt
